Gilani tearing law, constitution into shreds: Shahbaz
KASUR: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif said that Yusuf Raza Gilani was tearing the law and constitution into shreds, Geo News reported.
In an exclusive chat with the Geo News correspondent at Muslim League-N MNA Sheikh Wasim Akhtar’s residence here, Shahbaz Sharif saw no political gain to a convicted prime minister out of either by filing an appeal or otherwise against the SC verdict.
He said that so long this ruling nexus exists the economic condition in the country would further deteriorate.
When quizzed whether you would be contesting elections in presence of President Zardari, Punjab chief minister replied, “Which president, what president, which president you are talking about?”
Ealier, Shahbaz Sharif condoled the death of Sheikh Wasim Akhtar’s father.
Punjab chief minister accompanied by the leader of the opposition in national assembly, Chaudhry Nisar also led a demonstration from Baldia Chowk to Noor Manzil staged by the local people against persistent load shedding.
