ISPR rejects COAS meeting with Indian defence minister
KARACHI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Sunday rejected a news item, which said a meeting between Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani’s and Indian defence minister A K Anthony in Sngapore was on cards, Geo News reported.The ISPR statement issued said that no such meeting was likely to take place.
Earlier, some quarters of media had reported that there was a strong likelihood that Pakistan’s army chief and Indian defence minister would join heads in Singapore to hash out the Siachen issue.
