PPP government should apologise to nation: Nawaz Sharif

KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president, Nawaz Sharif upon his arrival here called on the Pakistan Peoples Party to apologize to the nation for the five long years of failure as government, Geo News reported.

Talking to reporters at the Jinnah International Airport, he said the PPP was missing from the field because they did no good to the people during their tenure.

The PML-N president also vowed to eliminate political parties' militant wings in Karachi after coming to power.

Replying to a question about his political rival in Punjab, Sharif said he would never come down to the kind of language Imran Khan's used against him (Sharif).

“If he (Imran Khan) claims that PTI will win 100 seats, then PML-N will take 170 seats,” Nawaz said.
