Interior minister meets MQM leaders at Nine Zero
KARACHI: Caretaker Interior Minister Malik Habib held meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders including Farood Sattar at party’s headquarter Nine Zero here on Sunday and discussed law and order situation, Geo News reported.
Speaking to media following the meeting, Malik Habib said terrorists want to sabotage elections. A high-profile meeting will be held on law and order situation tomorrow (Monday), he said.
Dr. Farooq Sattar said incidents of terrorism are question mark on holding transparent elections, adding MQM has apprised interior minister about ongoing terror incidents in the financial hub. He was optimistic that the minister would play his due role to halt this menace.
