Tomorrow is the last day of electioneering

KARACHI: Tomorrow (Thursday) is the last day for the election campaign of political parties, but following yesterday’s incident of Imran Khan’s fall from the makeshift lift in a Lahore rally, his party would not be able to hold any big rally today, Geo News reported.

Muslim League-Nawaz (ML-N) president Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has also announced suspension of his party’s election campaign for today in a goodwill gesture to his rival PTI.

However, the election related activities of other parties would continue as usual today. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s Quaid Altaf Hussain will telephonically address election meeting in District Naseerabad of Balochistan.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam's (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman will be addressing an election rally at Tank in Khyber Pukhtunkhaw today.

Besides, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Qaim Ali Shah and Khurshid Shah would be conducting election campaign in Jacobabad.
