MQM not being allowed to run electoral campaign: Sattar
KARACHI: Deputy Convener MQM Rabita Committee Dr. Farooq Sattar has said that his party is not being allowed to run electoral campaign independently, but still, he added that the party would not boycott the elections.
Addressing a news conference here on Thursday‚ the MQM leader said that the MQM is being subjected to terrorist attacks.
He said that six terrorist attacks have already been carried out against the party's elections offices. Besides‚ candidates and workers of the party were attacked in different areas of Karachi during the election campaign.
The preparations are being made to hand over the country to terrorists and criminals through general elections, Sattar claimed.
He said that his party would go to the Supreme Court against the delimitation of constituencies in Karachi.
