Sanaullah’s body arrives in PakistanLAHORE: Body of Sanaullah Ranjay, who was attacked in an Indian jail and later died at a hospital, arrived in Sialkot here on Thursday.
The body was flown from India through a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft. Sanaullah was fatally injured by an ex-Indian army soldier in a tit-for tat attack following the killing of an Indian terrorist Sarbajit Singh in a Lahore jail.
Sarabjit was cremated with full state honour, drawing strong criticism from Islamabad. He was awarded capital punishment for his involvement in bomb attacks in Pakistan that killed several people, while Sanaulllah, a civilian, was also on a death row in a Jammu jail.
