Security plan devised for free and fair election: Sethi
LAHORE: Interim Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi has said that a comprehensive security plan has been devised to hold free and fair election.
Speaking at a meeting over law and order and security arrangements, he said that effective security arrangements had been made at all the poling stations. He said that election commission’s decision to ban carrying mobile phone in the polling stations would be strictly implemented.
Sethi said that strict arrangements had been made at the sensitive polling stations, adding that all the necessary arrangements had also been finalized to move the ballot boxes from the polling stations after the polling process was completed.
