Karzai calls Nawaz, greets him on poll victory
LAHORE: Afghan President Hamid Karzai, on Sunday, telephoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and greeted him on his party triumph in general elections, Geo News reported.
The Afghan President also expressed well wishes for Nawaz Sharif and his party.
PML-N has emerged as major party in May 11 general elections and is in a position to form the government with party chief Nawaz Sharif as prime minister of Pakistan.
