Election Commission summons election record of Karachi constituenciesISLAMABAD: Election Commission Secretary, Ishtiaque Ahmed said Monday that the election record of all Karachi constituencies’ had been summoned.
Briefing the media here, Ahmed added that the Election Commission of Pakistan would review these reports and act accordingly. According to Ahmed credible rigging complaints would be dealt with under section 103 of the Representation of the People Act.
He clarified that re-polling would only be conducted on 43 polling stations of NA-250 (Karachi)
Ahmed further said that 90 percent of the election results had been received.
