Judges’ detention case: Prosecutor excuses himself from prosecuting
ISLAMABAD: Prosecutor Syed Muhammad Tayyab Advocate Wednesday excused himself to continue further prosecuting for personal reasons in the judges’ detention case during hearing in the Anti-Terrorism Court here, Geo News reported.
The law ministry has also been informed about the change of prosecutor.
Until the appointment of a new prosecutor the proceeding of the case is likely to be delayed.
Earlier, Pervez Musharraf’s lawyer Rizwan Abbasi by excusing himself had withdrawn his power of attorney in this case.
In the absence of prosecutor, the hearing of the judges’ detention case has been adjourned until May 18.
