Zaradri invites party heads to Presidency
KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday invited the heads of all political parties to a luncheon, which he would host in honour of Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang on May 22 at the Presidency. The Chinese premier will arrive in the country on a two-day state visit on May 22 on the invitation of President Zardari. On his arrival at the Presidency, Prime Minister Li Keqiang will hold a one-to-one meeting with President Zardari followed by delegation-level talks between the two countries. Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that besides others invitees, the heads of parties who had been extended invitations for the luncheon are Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain of Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Dr Farooq Sattar of Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Asfandyar Wali Khan of the Awami National Party, Munawar Hasan of Jamaat-e-Islami, Fazlur Rehman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao of Qaumi Watan Party, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal of Balochistan National Party, Mahmood Khan Achakzai of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Senator Dr Abdul Malik Baloch of National Party, Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi of National Peoples Party, Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi (Pir Paghara) of PML-F, Shahram Khan Tarakai of Awami Jamhhuri Ittehad Party, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed of Awami Muslim League, Ijazul Haq of PML-Z, Muhammad Ali Saif of All Pakistan Muslim League and Mir Israrullah Khan Zehri of BNP-A. app
