Chinese premier to address Senate session on May 23

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the session of the Senate on Thursday May 23 at 10 a.m. in the Parliament House in Islamabad. Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the Senate session will be addressed by the visiting Chinese Premier Li Keqiang. He said that as the joint session of the parliament was not possible by that date the visiting Chinese leader will address the Senate. The specially summoned Senate session will be prorogued the same day after address by the Chinese premier. app
