PPP invites MQM to join Sindh govt

ISLAMABAD: President of the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Makhdoom Amin Fahim said that his party has formally invited the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to from a coalition government in Sindh.

As per details, the senior PPP leader said that the people of Sindh had given a heavy mandate to the PPP and MQM and his party would form the provincial government in Sindh and continue the people friendly policies.

He further said that the PPP had invited the MQM to form the provincial government and meetings regarding formation of a government had been initiated.

Mahdoom Amin said that both the parties would soon enter into the phase of negotiating the set up of a government.

The stalwart politician said that the PPP accepted the results of the recently held historic polls despite reservations.

Meanwhile, MQM leaders said that the party’s role in provincial government would come to the forefront in a few days adding that the party leadership would not neglect the mandate of the people of Sindh, especially Karachi. inp
