MQM keeps all options open to join govt, opposition
LONDON/KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has said that it has yet to decide whether to join the government or opposition as party’s options were still open.
The information cell said that one of the points of Hussain’s Friday speech was reported out of context, which led to a wrong impression that the party had made a final decision to join government or opposition.
The MQM Information cell clarified that the party hasn’t decided to join the government or sit on the opposition benches as it was keeping all of its options open.
The statement noted that any decision in this regard would be taken only in the light of people’s and the party workers’ opinion.
