Five Guddu units start functioning

KARACHI: Five, out of 13 tripped units of Guddu Thermal Power Plant have started working after technical faults were removed on Sunday. Power supply to several areas including in Jacobabad, Kandhkot, Shikarpur, Sukkur in Sindh and Rajanpur of Punjab was suspended. In Balochistan, 23 districts including Quetta were affected. These districts are Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Pashin, Loralai, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi, Bolan, Nasirabad, Sibi and others. online
