PPP nominates Qaim Ali Shah for Sindh Chief Minister slot
KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has nominated Qaim Ali Shah to once again serve as the Chief Minister of Sindh.
According to sources, the decision was taken during a party meeting held here on Tuesday. It was during the meeting that Makhdoom Amin Faheem announced the nomination of Qaim Ali Shah.
Shah has served twice as the chief minister of the province and was elected to the Sindh Assembly from PS-29 (Khairpur-I). Speaking to the media, Shah said his first priority would be law and order in the province.
Sources further add that the PPP will nominate Agha Siraj Durrani as the speaker and Shehla Raza as the deputy speaker of the Sindh Assembly.
Initial the Sindh Cabinet will have five ministers including Manzoor Wasan, Sharjeel Memom, Nisar Khoro and Mir Hazar Khan Bijrani. Nisar Khoro will be the parliamentary leader of the PPP in the Sindh Assembly.
