Newly elect Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly members take oath
PESHAWAR: The newly elected members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly took oath in the opening session Wednesday, Geo News reported.
During the inaugural session today‚ the newly elected members of the house took oath of their membership.
Outgoing Speaker Kiramatullah Khan of KPK Assembly administered the oath in Urdu language while the options of English and Pushto languages were also provided.
Before the session, Speaker Kiramatullah congratulated the new KPK Assembly members and said that corruption has destroyed everything in the province. He further said that the bigger parties suffered due to the former government.
The KPK Speaker further said that the armed forces and the people sacrificed the most to nurture democracy.
