PML-Q to perform role of opposition vigorously in Punjab
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam's (PML-Q) parliamentary committee on Friday decided to support the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in national and provincial issues, Geo News reported.
The meeting of parliamentary committee of PML-Q was held at Chaudhary Pervez Elahi's residence.
Chairing the parliamentary committee meeting, senior leader of PML-Q Chaudhary Pervez Elahi said that his party will perform the role of active opposition in Punjab Assembly.
The meeting also reviewed the allies with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the damage done to the PML-Q by this decision.
A resolution of making Moonis Elahi parliamentary leader in Punjab assembly was adopted unanimously in the meeting.
