Pakistan maintains top spot in ICC T20I rankings
LAHORE: Pakistan national cricket team maintained its top spot in the International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings, it was announced on Wednesday.
According to the ICC annual update, the top-7 positions in the ICC rankings have remained static, while Afghanistan has jumped up to the 8th spot by knocking Sri Lanka one place down.
Pakistan remained at top with 130 points, Australia maintained second spot with 126 points, India remained third with 123 points, New Zealand fourth with 116 points, England fifth with 115 points, South Africa sixth with 114 points, while West Indies maintained sixth spot with 114 points.
Afghanistan (with 87 points) overtook Sri Lanka (with 85 points) to bag the eight sport, while Bangladesh secured tenth spot with 75 points.
