Bilawal demands answers from MQM over Baldia factory fire
KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, on Tuesday, said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) must answer for its role in the Baldia fire factory incident in 2012.
During a press conference in Karachi on May Day, the PPP leader sought an explanation from the MQM-P over the incident that claimed hundreds of lives.
Bilawal said, “The MQM-P should give an explanation over the Baldia factory fire tragedy, instead of pointing fingers at political rivals.” He further added, “The MQM-P need not worry. I will hold a gathering in every district. Lyari and Karachi are very dear to me.”
Bilawal also criticised former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and said that Nawaz’s ‘game had been exposed’.
