Nawaz confident PML-N will triumph in elections 2018
LAHORE: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday expressed optimism saying that the PML-N will win the next general elections.
While speaking to the party leaders, Nawaz said that despite opposition from all political parties, the masses were in favour of the PML-N.
He claimed that billions of rupees were spent in the recently held Senate elections and it should be investigated.
The former premier said that an “ineligible” person had been elected as the Senate chairman. He stated that an artificial change was introduced in Balochistan for the purpose.
Nawaz further said that the PTI chief Imran Khan has done nothing “except for being a hypocrite, arranging sit-ins and imposing false allegations.”
Talking about upcoming general elections, Nawaz said that he would not allow delay in elections and also asserted that the PML-N would secure victory in 2018 elections.
