‘Aliens’ sent 13 reigning PMs, presidents packing: Marriyum
LAHORE: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday said that ‘aliens’ are those who sent 13 reigning prime ministers and presidents packing throughout Pakistan’s 70-year history.
“Aliens have the people’s mandate in their hands and they are the ones who have sent home 13 reigning prime ministers and presidents,” Marriyum said while speaking to the media in Lahore.
The lawmaker added that “everything is now used for political point-scoring” and that there needs to be a limit to it.
She continued that despite 8 months of investigation, nothing was found against PML-N head Nawaz Sharif and that NAB officials’ statements “in favour” of the former PM tell that Nawaz is being made a victim of “political revenge”.
Marriyum took jabs at PTI Chief Imran Khan saying that the ladla Imran was set free for attacking the parliament and providing forged documents before the Supreme Court.
Turning his attention towards PPP, Marriyum said that “the opponents can not even say a word against us when it comes to performing,” while she also questioned Bilawal Bhutto regarding the performance of PPP in Sindh.
