PML-N creation of establishment: Imran
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that the Asghar Khan case revealed PML-N is the creation of the establishment and is being funded by them.
“Asghar Khan case reveals vividly how PML-N is a creation of the establishment and funded by them,” he said via his official Twitter account.
The PTI Chief added: “the case also shows how the “ladla” was protected and this open and shut case was not heard by the SC for two decades.”
The 2012 verdict in the case that former air chief marshal Asghar Khan had filed, had initiated legal proceedings against former army chief General Mirza Aslam Beg and former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) DG Lieutenant General Asad Durrani for handing out Rs 140 million to politicians to weaken Benazir Bhutto’s chances of winning the 1990 elections.
The current petitions have been filed by the former army chief and the former ISI DG against the 2012 verdict.
