Aurangzeb Promises Relief-Focused Federal Budget

Kamalia: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said the government is trying to minimize the financial burden on citizens in the upcoming federal budget. He stated that authorities are focusing on economic stability while continuing efforts to reduce inflation. His remarks came during a media interaction in Kamalia.

Aurangzeb said the government plans to prioritize enforcement and tax compliance instead of imposing additional taxes. He explained that improving the tax collection system remains a key objective of the upcoming budget strategy. Officials believe better compliance can help increase revenue without placing extra pressure on the public.

The finance minister said the government continues taking measures to control inflation and support economic recovery. He added that reducing financial pressure on ordinary citizens remains an important policy goal. According to him, authorities are working to maintain economic discipline while encouraging growth.

Aurangzeb also highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to reduce regional tensions and improve international engagement.
