Uncover BB's assassins, Mirza demands of govt
HYDERABAD: Former Sindh home minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza Sunday demanded of the government to uncover the murders of former prime minister and chairperson of Pakistan People's Party Benazir Bhutto, Geo News reported.
Addressing a public meeting here at Qasimabad, Dr. Mirza also demanded that those responsible for the negligence in Ms Bhutto's security be identified.
The former home minister said he had come out for Sindh's rights and honour and (for this) he had issued 300,000 arms licenses. "My agenda is to protect Sindh province," he maintained.
He, added, out of the above number of licenses 50,000 were sold out by Zahid Bhurgary.
Mirza equated the link of those who join hands with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to an association with a 'Yazidee Tola' (Yazeedi gang).
He said he failed to make President Zardari understand his point of view and that is why he had now turned to the people, saying he was committed to the cause of Sindh's rights.
