Nawaz back home from London
LAHORE: Muslim League-N president Mian Nawaz Sharif has returned home after his Turkey tour and London sojourn said to be for medical checkup.On landing here, he was taken out through the old airport for security reasons.
Former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif on the invitation of the Turkish President and Prime Minister had gone on Friday October 21 on a visit to Turkey. During his seven-day stay in Turkey, Nawaz Sharif held meetings with the Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Governor Istanbul, top Turkish leaderships and other high officials. Strengthening of bilateral relations and bolstering cooperation in different sectors were discussed and deliberated in these meetings.
On completion of his successful Turkey tour, Nawaz Sharif had left for London on October 28 for medical checkup.
