New LG system could be introduced in a month: Durrani
KARACHI: Local Government Minister Agha Siraj Durrani said that new LG system could be introduced within a month in accordance to the wishes of the people.Talking to media after inauguration ceremony of the new block in St Patrick’s College here, provincial minister said that MQM gave a document and PPP was also preparing to bring in new LG system.
He said the new LG system would be introduced with the help of PML-F and PML-Q among various other coalition partners.
Replying a question, Durrani said that Commissionerate system is different from LG system, adding that good things of Commissionerate system would be added in new LG system.
