Indebted MNA hosts lavish party for PM
MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Pakistan People's Party’s (PPP) MNA, Federal Parliamentary Secretary Tariq Tarar who arranged a grand welcome for Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is under Rs 1 million debt, has only Rs 26, 000 in bank account and does not pay any tax, sources in Election Commission revealed to Geo News.According to the sources, the declared assets of Tariq Tarar include 20.24 million worth agricultural land and a bungalow, does not have any local or foreign investment nor business. The MNA posses no car but owns 20 tola gold.
Despite his debts, the MNA threw a lavish party on Sunday spending a hefty sum of Rs 3.5 million.
