Mirza holds meeting with Scotland Yard
LONDON: Former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has reportedly handed over sensitive documents and evidence regarding Dr Imran Farooq’s murder to the Scotland Yard officials. According to reports, Mirza along with Lord Nazir Ahmed met officials of the anti-terrorism branch of the Scotland Yard in a police station in Western London. Mirza provided documented evidence to the officials in Imran Farooq murder case. Later on, he told the media that he had offered assistance in Imran Farooq murder case, which was accepted by the Scotland Yard. He said that his meeting with Scotland Yard had been very productive. “I have provided them new information which they didn’t know earlier,” he said. Mirza said he has extended his stay in UK on the request of the Scotland Yard. online
