Not aware of Pasha-Ijaz meeting: Mukhtar
ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar while speaking to Geo News said he was not aware of a meeting between ISI chief Shuja Pasha and US businessman Mansoor Ijaz.Mukhtar said that US Ambassador to Pakistan Husain Haqqani would be meeting with the country’s top leadership over the course of the next few days.
Mukhtar also endorsed the notion that those involved in the memo scandal should stand trial.
Earlier while talking to media here, Mukhtar said Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was investigating the matter and the results would be made public.
