Stakeholders should review Taliban’s messages: Malik


ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister, Rahman Malik has said that Pakistan not holding talks with the Taliban, however some messages have been sent by Taliban, which should be reviewed by all the stakeholders, Geo News reported.

On the sidelines of a Nadra function, Rahman Malik told media that the government had given an offer to the Taliban, but they would have to first give up terrorism.

He said that Pakistan and Afghanistan would be jointly investigating Professor Burhanuddin Rabbani’s assassination. One Afghan probe team coming to Pakistan today, whatever assistance they require would be given to them and intelligence agencies would also help them, Rahman Malik disclosed.

Interior minister said that whatever happened and whosoever found involved in Mansoor Ijaz’s memo would be made public.
