Fog disrupts transport in Punjab, KP
LAHORE: The transport system in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is affected by dense fog that has caused closure of motorways, Geo News reported Wednesday.According to motorway sources, the motorway was closed from Thokar Niaz Baig to Pindi Bhattian Interchange due to zero visibility at 7.30 am.
The spokesman of Peshawar motorway told that Peshawar-Tarshakai Interchange has been reopened for traffic after it was closed last night.
The motorway authorities have issued special instructions for the drivers asking them to keep the headlights on and avoiding change in lane along with speed control.
