Eid Milan party organized in Texas for charity

HOUSTON: Pakistani community in Houston celebrated the Eid Milan party to raise funds for an NGO working for children’s health and education projects.Azra Mohiuddin who is known for raising funds for charitable causes came from Pakistan to attend and perform in the event. Pakistani community not only enjoyed the evening but stayed late to be part of the festivities.
Two sisters, Soofia Naqvi and Nighat Rizvi from the NGO organized the show and the latter while addressing the audience said that even though we are far away from our land but our heart is filled with love for people of Pakistan.
Talking to Jang/ Geo News correspondent, Azra Mohiuddin she said that it is an honor for her that she came to attend this event from Pakistan.
A known community leader Fauzia Iqbal who came from New Jersey said that she came to Houston to listen to Azra Mohiuddin.
A lavish dinner was organized which was attended by local leaders and notables of the community.
