PTI organizes fund raising dinner for flood victims

HOUSTON: Pakistan Tahreek e Insaaf Dallas Fort Worth (PTI-DFW) women wing hosted a fund raising dinner for Sindh flood victims at a local restaurant in Irving.Local PTI leader Ashar Ahmed presented the details of destruction caused by flood and informed the audience that 5.3 million people and 1.7 million acres of land has been affected by flood.
Farmers are currently out of their cultivating lands and are forced to live in relief camps. He said that more than 500 people became victim of flooding.
PTI-DFW women wing President Nayyara Syed also addressed the meeting and thanked the audience. Muslim Democratic Caucus of Texas registered new voters at this occasion while a musical evening was also arranged.
