Wasan says street crimes in Karachi have decreased
KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan said Friday street crimes in the metropolis have decreased and robberies have only increased during the last three days, Geo News reported.
Wasan also said some ethnic groups were involved in these crimes and that it was difficult to control them.
Stating that he wanted peace in Karachi, Wasan added that sixteen robberies had taken place in the city this year and that police and rangers were ready to take action against criminals.
It is the responsibility of the police to deal with street crimes, Wasan said.
