PML-N moves SC to put Haqqani’s name on ECLISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif has filed a miscellaneous application in the Supreme Court, seeking that the name of former ambassador to the US, Husain Haqqani, be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL). This application is submitted through Fakhruddin G Ibrahim, requesting the court to put the former ambassador on the ECL till the completion of investigations. It was submitted in the application that Haqqani sent a derogatory letter to former US military chief through a US-based businessman, Mansoor Ijaz, against the Pakistan Army and Inter-Services Intelligence. staff report
