Afaq Ahmed detained for 30 days
KARACHI: Mohajir Quami Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) chairman, Afaq Ahmed has been detained for 30 days under the Maintenance of Public Order, Geo News reported.A notification in this regard was issued by the Home Ministry Sindh.
Earlier on Tuesday an Anti-Terrorism court in Karachi had issued the release orders for Ahmed.
The MQM-H chairman was formally arrested on October 6, 2011 in a case pertaining to the kidnapping of Jameel Ahmed for ransom.
