Claims on missing persons proved wrong: MalikISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Friday claims regarding number of missing persons in Balochistan didn’t prove correct following a thorough investigation, Geo News reported.
Speaking to media after appearing before the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Malik said that the government took every possible step for the restoration of law and order and recovery of missing persons in Balochistan.
He thanked the Chief Justice of Pakistan for hearing his view point. Malik said that the Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel had been killed while some elements clad in FC uniforms carried out terror activities in the province to carry forward their agenda.
He said that projects of construction of cantonments had been wrapped up for the sake of peace.
