Pakistan tour should be welcomed: Indian Home Minister
HYDERABAD: Indian Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said Friday, Pakistan’s upcoming tour of India should be welcomed. Shinde stated that sports should not be involved with politics and any player from any country could come and play in India.
When asked about radical Hindu parties voicing their opposition to the tour, Shinde replied that sportsmanship should be maintained.
Commenting on the liberalized visa agreement, the India Home Minister said he had asked the Indian Embassy in Pakistan to update him on this matter.
