Sindh House sources and sources close to Gilani said the former PM had quit the Presidency two days ahead of Eidul Azha and shifted to the Sindh House. Orders for allotment of the flat were issued by Sindh Chief Secretary Raja Abbas.

Sources said Gilani had visited the Sindh House before Eidul Azha and inspected the VIP flat. He kept standing in the lobby located opposite to the residence of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhry for some time. He directed the staff to transfer the remaining three rooms to him soon as he wanted to shift his family after Eid. online
