Imran leaves to attend World Economic Forum

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday left for Gurgaon, Delhi to attend the World Economic Forum.

The gathering is a continuation of the apex meeting of the WEF held every year in Davos. Imran has been a regular participant in Davos meetings and uses the occasion to showcase Pakistan as a major developing country.

In Delhi, he will also be making a major address on Wednesday (today) besides attending special meetings on health and education in South Asia. He will also meet important personalities on the sidelines of the conference. PTI leaders Jahangir Tareen, Shafqat Mahmood and Naeemul Haq are accompanying him. Imran is likely to return today evening.
