Government files review petition against B’stan law and order case verdict
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has filed a review petition in the Supreme Court against its interim order in the Balochistan law and order case.
It has been submitted in the review petition that the apex court has no authority to hear such case as the matters involving politics could not be heard by the court.
It said the judges are bound to work according to the constitution under their oath.
The petition says that the court while issuing interim order in the case in fact used defunct article 58/2-B of the constitution. It says that it is the head of the government who has to take decisions for bringing peace in the society besides other issues. (PPI)
