Imran asks Nawaz to quit politics after Asghar Khan case verdict
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, Imran Khan has asked PML-N President Nawaz Sharif to leave politics after the Supreme Court’s judgment in the Asghar Khan case, Geo News reported.
Addressing the 11th International Cancer Symposium here on Friday, Khan said he will quit politics if it is proven he takes money from ISI.
PTI chief said President Asif Zardari could not remain impartial after Swiss case decision.
Khan said for the first time in the history, a new Pakistan would emerge in the next general elections.
Commenting on the COAS’s statement, Imran Khan said he agrees with the army chief’s view that all the institutions should work in their defined parameters.
