Justice, democracy emerged victorious today: NaekISLAMABAD: Federal Law Minister, Fauque H. Naek Wednesday said that justice, democracy, law and the constitution have emerged victorious today, Geo News reported.
Following Supreme Court hearing of the PM contempt of court case, talking to media outside the SC, Farooq H. Naek thanked the court for discharging the contempt notice and added that we have carried out every order of the court, we want that democracy was not derailed in this country and all the documents confirming the delivery of the letter to Swiss authorities have been submitted to the court. He further said that the government desired promotion of democracy in the country. The court order has been implemented---better late than never.
Responding to a question about the former prime minister, Farooq H. Naek said that he was not a part of the Yusuf Raza Gilani’s government and added that Gilani Saheb is the former prime minister and false cases are being framed against him.
