Nawaz says electoral alliances likely
LAHORE: PML-N president Nawaz Sharif said Monday that his party would not be contesting the general elections alone.
Sharif said the prospect of alliances between the PML-N, PML-F, PML-Likeminded and Jamat-e-Islami were bright.
Speaking to senior journalists and intellectuals in Lahore, Sharif added there was fraud being conducted prior to the election and a notice of this should be taken.
The PML-N president further said the president of the country was answerable to the Supreme Court.
On the solution for the violence in Karachi, Sharif said the solution did no lie with imposing a ban pillion or motorcycle riding.
