Army no solution to Karachi problem: Imran Khan
KARACHI:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has urged the people of Karachi to play their due role in bringing peace back to the port city, Geo News reported on Thursday
Addressing a press conference, Khan asked the citizens of Karachi to vote for a political party that has no political wing, in the next general election.
He was of the view that army was not a solution to any problem, adding that a neutral police could also maintain peace in the city.
Imran Khan condemned sectarianism in the country and said that the government had failed to establish law and order.
The PTI chief announced that his party would soon hold a rally in Sukkur. He further said that he would prefer sitting on opposition benches if the PTI didn’t secure majority in the election.
