PM Raja sacks Privatisation Minister Ghaus Bakhsh MaharISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has removed the Privatization Minister Ghaus Bakhsh Mahar of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Friday, Geo News reported.
Ghaus Bakhsh Mahar was elected from Sindh on PML-Q ticket and was appointed as the privatization minister in former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani’s tenure.
On the other hand, Ghaus Bakhsh told that he was not removed but resigned from his position on October 31 and had presented his resignation to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Stating the reason, Mahar said that he had some conflicts with the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh chapter.
