Services of 73 Balochistan protesting doctors suspended
QUETTA: Balochistan Government has suspended services of 73 protesting doctors, who were observing strike against the abduction of PMA Balochistan’s Dr Saeed Ahmed.
Provincial Secretary Health Asmatullah Khan told Geo news that the government has made a decision in favour of public’s interest to take stern action against the protesting doctors.
He said that the services of 73 doctors have been suspended while salaries of all the protesters have been put on hold.
Khan told that crackdown has been launched against all the private hospitals not having non-objection certificates (NOCs). The directives have been given to seal all those private hospitals. The action would also be taken against the doctors and paramedical staff working in the hospitals, he added.
The secretary further said that a decision is also taken to verify degrees of doctors and to gather details about their foreign trips.
