Pakistan government will decide on South Waziristan operation: OlsonLAHORE: US Ambassador to Pakistan, Richard Olson said Tuesday the decision to conduct an operation in South Waziristan Agency (SWA) was Pakistan’s internal matter and would be made by the country’s government.
Olson added that both the US and Pakistan were in agreement in regards to eliminating terrorism. The US Ambassador further said that steps taken to ensure peace in Pakistan and Afghanistan were appreciated.
Commenting on anti-Pakistan video games, Ambassador Olson said they had nothing to do with the US government.
